We are looking for generous individuals who believe change is possible in their community. Volunteers with Lowcountry Herald are a vital component of our vision to empower homeless individuals to achieve long-term improvements in their health and quality of life.

1. VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME:  Our team is made up of a variety of community members, college students and families who have dedicated their time to help fight homelessness. If you are looking for a way to give back to those in need and would like to see a change right here in your own community, let us know by filling out the contact form linked below.

2. DONATE ITEMS: Homeless people often go without the basic necessities most Americans take for granted. In the struggle to find food and a safe place to sleep, they find it difficult to acquire basic items such as soap, shampoo, deodorant, and toothbrushes. Rarely do the homeless have access to the hygiene essentials needed to maintain good health and personal confidence. That is where we come in. Supplies are always in demand.

3. DONATE FOOD: Everyone needs to eat and they need to eat every single day. The homeless are one of the major groups suffering from food insecurity.
