LOWCOUNTRY HERALD WISH LIST
The Lowcountry Herald has partnered with Seacoast Church to host the Seacoast West Ashley Warming Shelter on cold nights throughout the winter. The following is a list of items that will always be needed:
SHEETS: Twin-size flat
PILLOWS / PILLOW CASES
BLANKETS: Lightweight twin-size thermal blankets
TOILETRIES: Travel size toiletries and feminine hygiene products
CLEANING SUPPLIES: disinfectant wipes, paper towels, laundry detergent, fabric softener sheets, Lysol spray, gallon size Ziploc bags & disposable latex gloves
EAR PLUGS / EAR BUDS
SOCKS / UNDERWEAR: New packages of mens and ladies socks & underwear
OUTER WEAR: Clean, gently worn winter coats
MEALS: soup, casseroles, etc., prepared in advance and delivered to the church between 7:30 - 8:00 p.m.
MEALS: “To-go” brown bag breakfasts (e.g. granola bars, pop tarts, fruit, juice, etc.)
MONETARY SUPPORT: helps offset the cost of shelter supplies (shelter advertising, propane for shower trailers, registration materials, etc.).
*Please note that we are unable to accept donations of used clothing at this time due to lack of storage space.
